Flatland Cavalry, an energetic blend of Country-Folk-Americana whose sound and influence can be traced to the vivacity and showmanship of the Turnpike Troubadours, melodic stylings of John Mayer, and songwriting ability of renowned Texas artists such as Randy Rogers and Wade Bowen, recently made their big outdoor stage headlining debut at the legendary John T. Floore Country Store. Founded in 2012 by childhood friends and Texas Tech University roommates, Cleto Cordero and Jason Albers, Flatland Cavalry has quickly taken the Texas music scene by storm and if their show at Floore’s is any indication, their future is a bright one.

Touring in support of their new second studio album, Homeland Insecurities, the 5-piece musical troupe took to the outdoor stage at Floore’s Country Store with the support of Jason Boland & The Stragglers and Kaitlin Butts (who became Flatland singer Cleto Cordero’s fiance right before the show!).
